Locking Orders for physical pledges
over 2 years ago – Tue, Nov 30, 2021 at 12:52:52 AM

Hi everyone,

this is just a quick reminder (apart from the E-Mail you should have received) that we will be locking all orders for physical pledges in 48 hours.

If you have only backed for digital content, you can ignore the BackerKit E-Mail you have received.

Please make sure to finalize your pledges within the next 48 hours to ensure receiving your reward to schedule.

Your shipping address can still be changed after your pledge is locked - it will be locked later on when we prepare for shipping and you will receive another notice before it happens.

Best regards,

Martin & Mario

Digital Pledge Manager live, Physical following soon!
over 2 years ago – Thu, Nov 11, 2021 at 08:06:09 AM

Hi everyone,

we know it's been a bit of a wait, but we have finally settled everything with MyMiniFactory and have just launched the Pledge Manager there. The BackerKit Pledge Manager for all Backers of physical rewards will launch after the weekend.

Following you will find some extra info regarding both Pledge Managers.

For Backers of Digital Content:

Space Scenery has just launched as a campaign on MyMiniFactory. As Kickstarter Backers you should have received an E-Mail, linking you to the Pledge Manager. In this Pledge Manager you have a token that can be redeemed for either the X-Wing or the Armada version of the Space Scenery. You will also be able to upgrade your pledge if you are interested in getting both versions of the obstacles or if you would like to add our spaceship models to your pledge.

All files are available for download right away and you can immediately get started!

For all Backers of physical content who may also be interested in getting the .stl-files, the campaign on MMF is public, so you can still get onboard by pledging for the files right there.

For Backers of Physical Content:

The BackerKit Pledge Manager for physical content will launch after the weekend. All Backers of this campaign will receive an E-Mail from BackerKit, leading you to the Pledge Manager.

Please be aware, that you will not be able to collect any digital pledges from BackerKit.

In the Pledge Manager you will be able to select any terrain set you would like, your Kickstarter Pledge counts as store credit. Additional funds (like for translucent resin or fully painted miniatures) will be collected by BackerKit as soon as the orders are locked. We intend on locking orders as soon as possible, usually within 2-3 weeks to plan our schedule accordingly.

The Options:

There is one set available for each game system. There is also the option to select a combined set, which includes all the bases for both games, the space station, 8 pieces of debris and 7 asteroids, which gives you a whole lot of terrain to play with for both game systems.

Of course you can also get two full sets if that's what you are after.

For each set you purchase, you have different style options. First one will be the amount of crystals on your asteroid models. Options are none, some, and all models with crystals.

The second style option will be the type of resin. Your options are standard resin and translucent resin. The translucent resin will only be applied to models that also include crystals.

Final style option will be painting, which is probably quite self explanatory. You want your models fully professionally hand painted or nah?

Any further questions or concerns? Feel free to be in touch with us, we're always happy to help. The best way to get in touch is via a comment on the project or under this update, so other people who may have a similar question get the chance to find their answer there right away.

For more private matters you can reach us via the Kickstarter messenger or via E-Mail.

Best regards,

Martin & Mario

Campaign end and what's to come
over 2 years ago – Tue, Oct 19, 2021 at 12:23:16 AM

Hi everyone,

thank you all very much for your support in funding this campaign. At the moment there isn't actually all that much to talk about.

We will be setting up the Pledge Manager for the physical pledges over the course of the next 2-3 weeks. The Pledge Manager for everything digital will likely be going online at a similar time, but it's the first time we are working with MyMiniFactory on the fulfillment of one of our campaigns, so we will see how everything goes, as the Pledge Manager is also connected to a Late Pledge Campaign on MMF, which has to be scheduled before going live, as MMf only runs a certain number of campaigns at the same time.

But for now the Pledge Managers aren't our biggest concern, as there's still finishing work to do on the models themselves.

As you've probably seen, most of it is already final and we have done a lot of printing lately, but there's still quite some work going into the models before they will be available for you to download / manufactured and sent to you.

You'll be hearing from us as soon as the Pledge Managers are about to go live and we'll be talking a little more about how everything works from there.

Until then, if there's any question or concern you have, feel free to post a comment on the update or right on the campaign page, we're always happy to help.

Best regards,

Martin & Mario

FUNDED!
over 2 years ago – Tue, Aug 24, 2021 at 01:28:05 AM

Hi everyone,

we're happy to announce that we have just reached our funding goal with more than 3 days to go.

We want to thank you all for your support, even though it is the second half of August and not a lot is going on on Kickstarter.

We appreciate every single Backer in this campaign, especially as we are avid Armada players ourselves and love to get in touch with the community in this way. Getting so much positive feedback for a project that started out with us wanting to update our own Armada game almost 2 years ago means a lot to us and also reminds us of the long way we already have behind us.

This project is the result of us printing some stones on sticks back in 2019 and sticking them on our cardboard cutouts, noticing very quickly, that this isn't the smoothest solution when it come to gameplay. So we kept on developing, coming up with ideas like the crystal asteroids, but most of all experimenting with different ways to fixate and remove the 3D-objects from the bases.

So thank you for being a part of this. We look forwards to the few days of campaigning to come and as usual: If there's any question or concern you have, feel free to be in touch with us. We're always happy to help, preferably in the comment section of this update or the project, but also via PM or E-Mail for more private matters.

Best regards,

Martin & Mario

Just a little 24 hours Update
over 2 years ago – Sat, Aug 21, 2021 at 02:15:05 AM

Hi everyone,

welcome aboard this campaign of ours! Things have been a little slow in those first 24 hours, but we are in good spirit that we will make it to our goal in the time remaining.

Of course a lot of people already took the chance to get their terrain sets in the unsupported variety already, which has been available for more than half a year now, so it's understandable that the impact of this campaign stays quite a bit behind what we've seen in October of last year when we launched the first generation of our obstacles.

If there's anything you would like to know, feel free to leave a comment, we're always happy to help.

Regarding future updates, we normally keep them to a minimum, as we know that most Backers won't read them anyway and many are mainly annoyed by a constant stream of updates with not much content of relevance for them.

So it's our approach to only post an update if there's some important information to share with our Backers.

This being said, thank you all for your support, even though this looks to become one of the smallest campaigns we ran to this day.

Best regards,

Martin & Mario
